The grand finale of the course’s third-year photography module was to create a poster to show-off the course. I chose to use a film poster theme, using a 50s science-fiction style with a photo of the course building as the central object.

The building has a wooden-shack high on 4 supports on top of it for weather-monitoring, which became the inspiration of putting a camera and a tripod in its place – and would immediately link it to those who know the course and new students visiting the univerity.

Lecturers and other university staff became the people in the credits.

This poster is one of my favourite peices of work from the degree, and all posters were printed A1 sized and put on display in around the building, which we then could keep. It’s shrunk to a more internet friendly size below:
