A poster created for C theatre’s production of Shakespeare for Breakfast, a yearly comedy show.

2005’s theme was “I’m Julius Shakespeare, get me out of here”, and so I put together this simple collage of Shakespeare’s head behind a jungle background. For a poster that had to be designed very quickly (like all C Venues work this was last minute stuff), over about 4 hours, I’m quite proud of the result, especially when I saw it plastered around Edinburgh.

The picture of Shakespeare’s head with the tartan hat is a staple image for the shoes, so it wasn’t designed by myself.
