Validis website v2

Based on the both positive and negative feedback our department got for the v1 version of the Validis website, we decided to redesign the website from scratch, taking the benefit of a longer deadline to fully work through the psychology of how visitors would navigate around the site. We also took this opportunity to bring our corporate marketing message into this website (previously it was in a seperate website).

The design was created with the help of a typography consultant, who set out the basic grid and colour scheme for the front page – sub pages were left for us to design. Due to the other message being added, Javascript and Cookies were used to keep track of what type of user a visitor is, and this is reflected on page in what content they see and what colour scheme the site has.

Like its predecessor, the site used HTML and CSS and ran on a company-written CMS.

The site was reworked in early 2009 so there is only the screenshot below of the site.
