Personal work

Throughout

There is personal work I have done outside of the jobs below. These are highlighted in the relevant jobs

Future Route

May 2007 to August 2009

An accounting technology company, I worked in the marketing department looking after the corporate and product websites, any online-based advertising and email campaigns and sales/support documentation.

At various stages within my time at Future Route I also set up microsites for partners, liased with outside marketing and design agencies and handled event management.

Amigos del Lago

Spring 2007

For the first four months of 2007, a friend and I travelled around Mexico and Guatemala, including a two month stint teaching and doing conservation work in a small Guatemalan Town, Santiago Atitlan.

Magicalia

November 2005 to January 2007

Here I started and ran ThinkCamera.com, a photography community site. I also did ads, banners and other work for the rest of the websites in Magicalia's web-publishing division.

C Venues

Summer 2005 and 2006

Working up at the Edinburgh Festival I started in the IT department then moved to design of posters, brochures and flyers for shows running during the season. In 2006 I helped out in the two months preceding that summer.

Kent University Canoe Club

2002 to 2005

After joining as a fresher I was made club treasurer for the second and third year there and was due to be president-elect if I had stayed. As well as the financial duties as treasurer, I looked after the website, did t-shirt designs and used the club as a basis for some of my university projects.

University of Kent at Canterbury

2002 to 2005

I received a 2:1 in Multimedia Technology and Design. The work on the left is a selection of the more portfolio friendly modules, the rest being programming and computer science.
